
Meet the Team
The Club is run by a Management Committee that meets once a month. Committee members are elected at the Annual General Meeting and all are volunteers. The Flag Officers (Commodore, Vice Commodore and Rear Commodore) each serve two years in their positions.
Committee members take on management roles at the Club that generally align with their expertise and business experience. They are responsible for managing the Club, including its programme of events, the management and maintenance of the Club’s assets, while delivering a safe and enjoyable experience to the Club members.
The Committee must work within a budget that is dictated by our income. Our income is derived from Member Subscriptions, Boat Hire, Boat Storage fees, Facilities Hires, kitchen, bar and clothing sales and such sponsorships as we can attract.
Club members assist the Committee by helping with the Club maintenance and improvements with working bees.
