Pleasant Point Yacht Club is based in South New Brighton Park, and sails on the sheltered waters of the Christchurch Estuary.

 

We are a fun, family friendly local Club with a summer long programme of sailing that is enjoyed by children from around 7 years of age right through to our oldest sailors who are over 80 years young ... in fact we have families with three generations sailing at Pleasant Point Yacht Club.

The more I sail the more determined I am to keep sailing. I am super thankful to have found PPYC when I did. Even though I didn't have a boat, experience or even the right clothing, the egalitarian nature of this particular club ensured that I was made welcome.
