Membership
Pleasant Point Yacht Club offers several membership types based on what we have found suits most people, from those who enjoy the excitement of racing to those who prefer social sailing and those who just want to belong as a social member… we can cater for all your membership needs.
Junior (under 17 at 1st of June)
Youth (under 19 at 1st of June)
Student (under 21 and at a tertiary institution)
Senior (19 years and over)
Family (up to 2 adults and school age children- see options on application form)
Social (Non-sailing)
Pleasant Point Yacht Club is run entirely by volunteers (no one is paid) and as a member of the Club, you will be rostered on to do duties throughout the sailing season.
Duties can include, start box assistance including race management, manning a rescue boat and kitchen duty.
Training in these roles is given and you work under the oversight of our Duty Committee Member
